About the Festival
Held in Kinshasa from July 16 to 18, 2025 under the High Patronage of President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, this festival is an initiative of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in collaboration with UN Tourism.
A true bridge between Africa, the Americas, and the world, it highlights music as a driver of tourism, identity, and inclusive development. Through conferences, exhibitions, live performances, and cultural tours, the event celebrates the richness of cultural expressions — notably Congolese Rumba, listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
This international gathering aligns with the priorities of the UN Tourism Action Plan for Africa, promoting the Africa brand, creative industries, and youth empowerment.
